São Vicente is located in the windward group, northwest of the archipelago, it is the second most populous island with 75.000 93% are concentrated in Mindelo city, and 3% in rural villages.

On the island there are different restaurants and kiosks that offer food for travellers, in all reataurants in the city you will find food with a similar standard to what is served in Europe, fish and meat dishes and beans are the most prepared, for vegetarians or have a special diet, you can order a special dish in advance or buy it in a nearby supermarket.
